Draw this again! Painting edition by Crivannia Draw this again! Painting edition by Crivannia

I know, AGAIN! It's really fun okay, and I really liked the original colour scheme for this >.>

So as you guys may have noticed that I've been trying to paint a lot more, and I think I've gotten a lot better over the year, exhibit A right up there :iconarrowupplz: So I finished up repainting it and went to go find the date for the old one... AND THEY'RE ONE YEAR APART! (well I was planning on uploading this tomorrow to make it exactly one year, but but too bad!)

I really didn't realize to what point I improved until I looked back at the left one and cringed. I actually remember cringing at that one on the left WHILE making it. So this is also kind of redemption for that.

Same program, PaintTool SAI, and about the same amount of time!

Enjoy! I really love making these, and sorry, I'll probably be making more in the future! xD

I miss the necklace from the first one, but otherwise, much improved, good job.

The first one has no emotion whatsoever.

Which is why I was trying for a more serene/subtle expression in the newer version, to not stray too far away from the original feel :)

Ironically, i prefer the colouring of the original piece but like the person below me has commented there is improvement in anatomy on the newer version, keep it up!

I see, I prefer the right colour scheme myself, I prefer muted colours xD

Thanks!

Interesting. The left one has more depth but the right one has slightly better anatomy, better shading and better color blending.
